Practice Description

Mr. Asbury joined the firm in 2009 . His practice focuses on complex business litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants in corporate governance, employment, and commercial contract disputes.

Mr. Asbury provides employers with solutions to their structural and operational needs by:

Creating, reviewing, and updating employer handbooks, policies, procedures, employee trainings, job descriptions, and other employment related documents such as separation, non-competition, confidentiality, and consulting agreements.

Advising employers on general employment matters such as recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, employee classifications, compensation, benefits, and leave practices, and other compliance issues under federal and state laws and for litigation risk reduction.

Training employers, their HR professionals, and other employees on hiring practices, employee performance and management, discrimination and harassment, and other legal compliance and best-practice employment issues

Mr. Asbury’s practice also includes business organization, governance, and related matters.

Mr. Asbury is a member of the Utah and California Bars and has been admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.
